Drew and Lynette's Anniversary Party

Let me paint a picture for you: two of my dear friends, Drew and Lynette, celebrating their anniversary, croquet, homemade grape juice, a gorgeous dining table in an orchard. Add flowers from another friend (anytime I hear Sarah's involved I sign up immediately...ballet shoot?), the most delicious food made by Lynette and co (she also made her dress), and to top it off I got to bring my buddy! That was a lot of commas.

(In infomercial star Billy Mays' voice) And that's not all! I created one of my favorite cakes of all time. All captured on film by Leo. Jealous? Don't be. Enjoy.

That's my buddy!

Rustic Travel Wedding Shoot

Wow, it's been a while! Between my busiest month of Pink Peach history and a major family move, I haven't had the chance to share some of the glorious weddings I've been a-witness-ing.

I collaborated with Kimberly of Chic Design Studios to deliver this rustic-travel shoot. I had really been wanting to do this exact cake and was looking for the right opportunity to make it. Kelly green is so very underrated in my opinion. To see more images from this impressive shoot, visit Rustic Wedding Chic.

AND! Look for a special package price on this exact "Rosette Cake" on my website.

Summer Wedding Shoot

I never thought red, white, and blue made for a sharp-tastic wedding. I guess I've never seen it done, but that's what Utah Bride Blog did with the summer edition of thier seasonal shoot. Now a lakeside wedding, I've always thought that was idyllic. Now that I'm a mom I think it's idyllic/nerves-on-edge. Still so pretty though. We had a beautiful pool at our wedding with floating candles, and I'm sure my siblings and siblings-in-the-law were thinking, "could you also have a life guard on duty?"

Back on topic. I love so many things about this shoot. Mini-pies? Check. Awesome nautical jewelry? Check. Flowers I could eat? Fun, bold stationary? Dotted Swiss dress? A handful of Pink Peach Cakes? Check, check, check!

From Russia With Love Shoot

I would describe Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen Photography's style as very romantic. Her concept for this shoot was romantic in its origins as well. She and her husband corresponded while he lived in Russia and those love letters were at the heart of this Russia inspired shoot. Such a rich color palette and everywhere you look is Russian opulence. Visit ETF's blog for sooo many beautiful images and videos. Liz does what she does well. Very well.

Ballet Wedding Shoot/ Snippet and Ink

It takes a lot for me to blog two days straight. Well, I've got a lot to share. After several months of planning and waiting, we've got some ballet wedding images. Myself, my Yan, and my Sarah of Ea floral madness styled a faux wedding and enlisted the help of some of -the- -best- in the biz. If I had any inclination to dance, this would be the wedding I'd have planned for myself. Brides, if you are ballerinas, you CAN get away with busting out the leotard and leaping around your reception. No one can or should stop you.

I love the clarity and depth of Yan's photography. She is one of the most conscientious and skilled photographers I know.
Since the day of the shoot, I have been considering perming my hair to get it thick and bushy enough for a braid like this. You heard me, a perm. Flavia of Versa Artistry is a master at her craft. Her makeup and hair skills took our vision to a whole 'nother level.
Sarah's floral powers numb my mind. I could honestly eat some of her arrangements. She also is responsible for the entire table-scape. I LOVE the giant cornucopia of flowers in the bride's hair.

Leland of Rowley Press creates some of the most incredible wedding stationary. His subtle colors and wreath on this were so on point. Pun intended!  And I was floored by the wood grain in the invites. That pun was not intended.
I'm so grateful to the entire team who we collaborated with.  We should do it again real soon. See more of the shoot at Snippet and Ink today.

Valentine's Day Shoot

February is here. Love is in the air. And so is another splendid shoot put together by Mara of Events by LMG. Well, the shoot is not in the air per se. This goodness took place at the new Lily and Iris Wedding Boutique. The space is class, no? And Britt Chudleigh made magic with her camera; no surprise there. Do you like how Mara blingedy blinged the cake out?

Glamorous. The flossy flossay.
Whatever that means, Fergie.

Ballet Wedding Shoot-Preview

A wonderful weekend awaits me. A family Christmas party, wrapping up the cakes of the week, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert (the highlight of my Christmas season each year). Hoping yours is equally wondrous.

I'm so so so proud of this shoot. I might change this into a blog exclusively about the Ballet Wedding Shoot but I'd lose readers eventually. For now, I'll just share this image, but know that great things are soon to be smeared in your little faces.
